2020 and things to come

Happy New Year!

Okay, now that that’s out of the way, there’s a lot to celebrate from 2019 and a lot to look forward to in the new year. For starters, it’s been one full year since the release of my book, a milestone that I can’t help but pat myself on the back for. It’s amazing what you can accomplish if you just stick to it. (Read my blog on that here).

2020 is going to bring a lot of new content. The first of which is a short story I’ve been working on for the past few months. (Read a sneak preview of that here). If you’re familiar with my book, forget everything you know. This story will be nothing like that.

This new story will be about a world class chef navigating his way through a post-apocalyptic New Jersey with subpar cooking ingredients. As an avid fan of the Food Network and cooking shows in general, this idea has always intrigued me. My hope is to bring this dark comedy to you in the coming months.

I’m going to branch out and try some new things this year. I have a lot of story ideas and the best way to get them out right now is in short story form. In time, they could all very well be expanded on, but for now I’m focused on getting the content out to you as quickly as possible.

But I haven’t forgotten about The Tower of Blue. I’m working on some new things for it, some of which I’ve already teased on my social media. A lot of that is a secret only because I want it to be a surprise to you, my readers. But rest assured it’s not the last you’ve seen of The Tower of Blue or its universe. Don’t expect an expanded universe the size of Marvel comics or Harry Potter, but there’s still some potential for more story to be told.

Thanks for sticking with me in 2019 and for still being here in 2020. I’ve got nothing but love for each and every one of you.
